In life, failure is a broader term and every individual feels it in a different way. For a graduate, failure is, not getting a decent job or for a professional, failure is, not being appreciated by the boss, or for an entrepreneur, failure is a lack of funding or anything which can make the start-up suffer tremendously. Apart from these, there can be a mental failure which means you are losing every hope because of continuous rejection in your life.

Moreover, in such cases, people are always advised to work hard and think positively about things. As a result, it is likely that a person can suddenly see a ray of hope after getting some motivation from friends and ted talks. Unfortunately, if they again get hit, this time the pain is more and unbearable too. To cut it short, in this article, I have a few points to discuss, they may help you find out about the mistakes which you often make in multiple tries for a specific goal.

  1. You forget about the details: The greatest artist is the one who displays his best work to the public. In his best work, he is more focused on inner details than only working on the outer part. For instance, you usually get a rejection from recruiters, and you just complain that their expectations are different or they don’t want to hire you as you were asking for more salary package. But, did you even realise that you were not able to impress the interviewer due to a lack of knowldege? If this is the truth, rather than applying, again and again, work on minute details of the content that you didn’t work on earlier.
  2. You are overly positive: These days people are being so positive that after having the rejection, they just listen to some motivational talks and completely ignore the negative aspect which just happened. For example, people just leave things on God or on their fate. I am not trying to say that you have to cry and think negatively about the past challenge, but thinking only positively about the challenges may not help you in figuring out other alternatives, hence, you will only stick to the one thought process. So, getting motivation from ted talks is fine, nevertheless digesting the negative sides of problems makes you stronger and pushes you for other solutions to get success.
  3. You are not trying hard enough: Giving multiple attempts doesn’t always show that you are giving your best. It has another side too, which means you are not working on your past mistakes or you are not looking for a different context. Not only this, you are in the illusion that after hundreds of failures, you will be successful like Jeff Bezos. But, seriously! is it true? No, not at all! You need to crave more for learnings and hardships also, you don’t have to back off from the hard part of success.

A short note: you can be whatever you want to! Behind every success, there is a lot of sweat, learnings, disappointments, physical and mental pains. Remember, don’t lose hope and give attempts, how many you want. But, at last, you should be aware of your best version of success.

I hope you like my content, see you soon! :)
