Your mindset determine everything!

Every day and every minute, you can’t stay positive, even if you listen to lots of ted talks and read motivational books. Your mind will always put you in a situation where you would lose your peaceful state and you start thinking about the negative events of life. You may think about past relationships or about pet that you lost last year or you may assume that you will not get success in the future. These thoughts are natural and normal but to some extent. There should be a fine line between a positive and negative mindset, and if there is an imbalance you would definitely lose the one side.

Moreover, thoughts are like food, food gives energy to the body and thoughts give energy to the mind. Thoughts that are healthy, would help you in maintaining your mental peace, on the other side, if they are unhealthy, it would push you to escape from reality and make you more vulnerable. Just imagine your last time, when you started thinking about the past serious relationship, and you were about to cry when you had a thought about it, or your body reacted differently or you wanted to stay isolated. Certainly, that only one thought made your energy and mind weak.

Similarly, there is another approach by which it can be dealt with. Rather than staying isolated or changing feelings immediately, go to your best friend or write down your feelings.Discuss this problem and think about whether this event is worth it to me? Or, am I just wasting myself by thinking a lot? When you get the answer, your mind will process it and throw that thought in the dustbin. After this whole process, your mind would be lighter and a free- bird.

Furthermore, there are many other ways by which a cycle of negativity can be stopped. It's up to you which one is better for you and your mind. People who are often worried about their future, they don’t ask “Why” questions from themselves and they just keep thinking about things. Just ask once that why am I worried? If you get the answer then start working on your goals/learnings/relationships whatever it is.

We are no one to change the future events, but yes, we can anticipate some of the events by taking worthy actions. Also, if you are fully prepared and you know that “This is What I Want”! then you have to be strong, rigid and consistent. These small affirmations can make your life less complicated and more sorted.

In addition, I would like to share a short beautiful story which I read recently in the book. There was a son and father, and every day the father used to teach values to his son by telling the stories. One day, the father shared the story of two wolves and there was a war going on between them. He said, one wolf is strong and full of negativity, envy, jealousy, hatred, dominance, and greediness, and the second one is compassionate, empathetic, caring, giver, honest and trustworthy. Then he asked his son, “who will win this war”? The son simply replied the second one would win as he is a hero and has all good qualities. However, the father said, it is not necessary, it would be ‘The one you feed the most’.

He simplified that this war is also going on in your mind, and it’s on you which qualities you want to feed in it. The wolf we feed will reflect in our attitude , behaviour also, in thought process.

At last, I hope you will get inspired by this article. Read it as many times as you want and stay positive and live a simple happy life. See you soon!
